Exclusive prints for the Saudi Arabian market
The word “Arabian” usually conjures up images of endless desert, colourful clothes and fabrics, beautiful architecture and a sense of mystery. Capturing that essence of “Arabia” is what designer Lana Luk is reflecting in her print designs for the Saudi Arabian market. She does this through a combination of smooth lines with acute angles with every line flowing into the next. All of Lana Luk’s designs are created digitally, however they have a handmade look and are a combination of digital art with old style hand-drawn prints .Lana Luk uses a wide palette of colours, from pale to bright. Nearly each design includes several shades of colour reflecting the essence of Arabia.

UFFR is working in partnership with Omar Bin Saddik Center in seeking to identify and engage with designers wishing to enter this new market.
International platform for Ukrainian Fashion Designers
Fashion is rapidly developing in Ukraine. Autumn 2009 was the 12th anniversary of the Ukrainian Fashion Week.
Ukrainian Fashion Week receives major media attention worldwide and is the place for the Ukrainian wealthy fashion conscious clientele. Ukrainian Fashion week is organized twice a year, the main objective is the introduction of national fashion designers to the world stage. Ukrainian Fashion Week is growing into the major commercial fashion event attracting buyers from around the world.
UFFR wishes to announce our collaboration with Ukrainian Fashion Week and its designers to develop the commercial potential of Ukrainian fashion design internationally. Ukrainian designers have been represented in Paris, New York and Washington and 2010 UFFR will introduce the best designers to the London market.
UFFR will act as distributors of selected Ukrainian designers into the UK retail market by providing a show case for international buyers.
